This weekend is going to be absolutely wild!
There are TWO major events happening here and around us the weekend of May 20th.
Mayfest – May 20th-22nd
First, starting May 20th, the 25th Anniversary of Mayfest is taking place (for the first time ever) just ONE block away from the Chicago Bar Store. In respect of this huge celebration, we are giving away a free gift with every purchase starting Friday (while supplies last). We are so excited and will be open later to accommodate the festival goers.
Chicago Mayfest kicks off the summer festival season on May 20th through 22nd on Armitage @ Sheffield in the Historic District of Lincoln Park. Join us this year as we celebrate our 25th Season. Only one block from the Armitage Brown line stop.
Featuring Chicago’s top party bands on the west end and our Artist’s Lounge on the East end. These two stages will showcase Chicago’s most acclaimed musicians. In addition to the two stages, Mayfest offers delicious summertime food, and all the libations needed to light up your weekend.

National Restaurant Association Show – May 21st-24th
Next up, starting Saturday, May 21st, is the re-start of the annual National Restaurant Association Show! Chicago Bar Shop will be participating for the fifth year in partnership with Intel. The NRA show is the largest show of its kind to take place in the Western Hemisphere. It will be held at McCormick Place May 21st through the 24th. If you have the opportunity, be sure to stop by our booth to see examples of our custom bars and get the opportunity to speak with our builders and bar experts!
